I was just looking - quite randomly - at Flightaware and came across the following flight:

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/CSN123

The flight is from Snohomish County/PAE (aka Boeing Field) to Guangzhou and the aircraft is a 777-200LRF; a nonstop of this distance would normally be outside the range of a 777-200LRF (with a decent revenue load) and as China Southern delayed taking delivery of its 77Fs, due to the economic downturn, I wonder if this could be a delivery flight?

It's nice to watch the delivery flight of a brand new aircraft, if indeed (as I suspect) this is what it is!

The 777LRF has nice long legs.
We have both China Cargo and starting later this week China Southern running them to LAX nonstop across the Pacific.

Quoting kaitak (Thread starter):

PAE is not Boeing Field (BFI). They're about 25 miles apart.

Thanks for the info; it was just my (wrong!) assumption.

And thanks WestWing; Skyliner also confirms it this morning; it was indeed the 888th 777, B2081. Looks good!

Just looking at Flightaware again, it looks like its now on its descent into Baiyun, its new home. 13 minutes to go, as at 07.08, Irish time (14.08, local).
