In another step moving forward with their intended merger, the DOT today provisionally approved United Continental Holdings, Inc. assumption of all foreign route authorizations, frequency allocations, codeshares, and antitrust immunity grants for Continental Airlines, Continental Micronesia and United Airlines to the extent necessary to allow the applicants to operate under the common ownership of United pending the Department’s final action.

For anyone interested the docket has a long list of route authorizations some dating back to Pan Am and not operated in ages.
