Topic: Ryanair Interiors With Cloth Seats?

Hey guys,

So I recently flew ryanair and had the chance to fly on EI-DAD which has the interior with cloth seats. I was just wandering if anyone knows how many aircraft in the fleet have the seats and if ryanair has any ideas to replace them in the future? In my opinion I think all their interiors should have the cloth seats as I found them much more comfortable.

Thanks Guys

Every delivery from EI-DAN on has leather seats, yellow overhead bins and bulkheads. Originally EI-DAN was the first to fly the revised livery, but I think some earlier deliveries may have been repainted during checks, and so on.
I don't believe FR have any intention of replacing the seats, only as aircraft leave the fleet will the cloth seats disappear. I believe most of the EI-Cxx regs have been retired now, so there can't be more than a few left with cloth seats.

Brian.

Looks like there are 11 cloth-seat aircraft left: EI-DA CDEFGHIJKLM. I flew once on EI-DAK and found it the most comfortable FR aircraft I've encountered. Not only because of the cloth seats, but also because the shape of the seat gives more leg room.

Leather or fake-leather?? I can't imagine Ryanair would pay for leather seats. They are also incredibly unconfortable!

Of my last Ryanair trips, two flights have been on planes with both the old livery and old seats which are a lot comfier then the current fake leather ones!

They're probably leatherette or something similar; it will be the cheapest material possible that meets safety standards. Leatherette (or whatever it is) makes more sense than cloth, because they are easier to clean.

Correct. They've all gone.

I noticed this before. The uploader has made a mistake in the photo details.

I flew EI-DAE from BHD to BRS earlier this year and it was in the cloth interior- however it had been repainted into the new CS.
