How bad is the weather in NYC? Flightaware is showing a 739 diverted here to ROC, was doing LAS-EWR as Continental flight 569. I think we've gotten a 757 once in a blue moon, but other than that, this is the largest pax aircraft we've had in a really long time (sadly). We're pretty far out of the way for a diversion too... are the normal points clogged up?

P.S. Would be greatly appreciated if someone could head to the airport in the miserable weather and catch a photo of the plane. I think it's the first -900 (maybe even -900/ER, not sure what they put on that route) to ever land here.

[EDIT] Just checked CO.com, CO569 is sched. to head out of here at 5:54. It's ship 435 -- a 900/ER! I wish we got WX diversions more often Big grin

MDT had two B6 diversions from JFK this morning.

PVD had DL 494 SDQ-JFK (738) stop in yesterday evening.

Last night BTA3080 EWR-BTV went to Boston. Flew in this morning as BTA4913.

This morning, FLG3781 DTW-BTV went to ROC and BTA2529 EWR-BTW went to SYR. Both have since arrived.

The weather wasn't particularly bad in BTV, but the lack of the glideslope for runway 33 I think has made it more difficult for the non-RNAV equipped aircraft.

Wow, now we have JBU56 JFK-BTV diverting to ROC. BTA2842 EWR-BTV diverting to ALB.

RPA3196 PHL-BTV diverted to ALB.
ASH7265 IAD-BTV heading to SYR.
