At first, they flew in 727-100s, but later flew in 737-200s. I believe they flew to Salt Lake City, but I'm not real sure. Does anybody know where their hub was, were all they flew, and what brought about their demise? It seems like Wien was an airline that faded into sunset without leaving a legacy. |

As far as I know most of their operations took place in Alaska with a limited network to the State of Washington, Oregon and maybe a few other states in the northern part. Salt Lake seems a bit "too far" away but I can´t tell. Anyway another compagny that just went away. |

My first memory of Wien was in Alaska, and in the mid-60's they were operating several Pilatus Turbo Porters from various locations, serving small remote communities.I believe they also had a few Fokker (or Fairchild?) F-27's,too. |
