First it was paying to use the lav, then removing extras, now the idea is to sell applications to view porn on cell phones etc. (seat back viewing isn't even suggested). OK the proposal includes other applications like gambling... but Porn caught the headline.

Now, now. This is Ryanair, where air sickness bags are only available upon request.
I noticed that they want to do this via mobile app. Problem for FR is that Apple won't allow adult content on their App Store, and I don't think RIM or Microsoft allow it in BlackBerry App World or Windows Phone Marketplace, either. Unless they only want to make it available for Android, they'll have to do it as an HTML5 web app just to circumvent Apple/Microsoft/RIM rules.

Okay, I wish people would stop paying any attention to these. This suggestion, along with most of his suggestions, couldn't possibly be made happen. I'm sure that there's laws in Ireland that prohibit doing that on planes that have minors in them. Then again, their seats are already easy-to-wipe plastic...
I do wish that one slow news day one paper would point out how eager FR is to brake safety laws with adding seats above the exit limit, removing FA's to below the limit etc...

There needs to be a compromise here; Ryanair has to recognise that to many people, porn is distastement, disgusting and uncomfortable, so FR needs to do something - to balance this out - which is distasteful and uncomfortable for FR itself... offer it free.
