First it was paying to use the lav, then removing extras, now the idea is to sell applications to view porn on cell phones etc. (seat back viewing isn't even suggested). OK the proposal includes other applications like gambling... but Porn caught the headline.

see; http://www.minyanville.com/dailyfeed...dication&medium=portals&from=yahoo

When is enough enough? And what do you do with an over stimulated passenger when the single lav is in use?

This is just like those "pay to use the the lavs, were removing a lav from our aircraft to add more seats, etc, etc" threads. Attention seeking is all it is & what a surprise, its working!

That O'Leary fellow has generated more free advertising than any other executive in the history of capitalism. Hats off to him.

Now, now. This is Ryanair, where air sickness bags are only available upon request.

I noticed that they want to do this via mobile app. Problem for FR is that Apple won't allow adult content on their App Store, and I don't think RIM or Microsoft allow it in BlackBerry App World or Windows Phone Marketplace, either. Unless they only want to make it available for Android, they'll have to do it as an HTML5 web app just to circumvent Apple/Microsoft/RIM rules.

Okay, I wish people would stop paying any attention to these. This suggestion, along with most of his suggestions, couldn't possibly be made happen. I'm sure that there's laws in Ireland that prohibit doing that on planes that have minors in them. Then again, their seats are already easy-to-wipe plastic...

I do wish that one slow news day one paper would point out how eager FR is to brake safety laws with adding seats above the exit limit, removing FA's to below the limit etc...

When M O'L runs out of ideas!

I wonder what his next move will be. Maybe he will lobby for "self-serve" flights with no F/As.

The only way MOL will ever get any is if he pays for it... Maybe that's where the idea came from.

It's a very interesting question. In these days of demands for greater personal choice why shouldn't porn be available on aircraft?

Why do people have such hang ups about sex? We all do it, even on aircraft.

Raise the price of using the lav.

Actually, so do I. Sex sells. Always. It's brilliant! I won't be flying with them, but I sure would consider buying their stock!

It's also an opportunity for MOL to sell lube on the plane for additional profit !  Wow!

The first thing coming to my mind reading the title was:
"How is low-cost-porn going to look like?"
I mean guys, seriously, admit it: There is quality in porn, too  What could Ryanair possibly offer?

Jokes aside: Another free publicity stunt. Standing passengers, toilet fee, 1-person flightdeck, I am actually quite hyped to read the next stunt
Will anybody open a thread "MOLs next ideas - collection" ?

There needs to be a compromise here; Ryanair has to recognise that to many people, porn is distastement, disgusting and uncomfortable, so FR needs to do something - to balance this out - which is distasteful and uncomfortable for FR itself... offer it free.
