| Topic: RE: WN/FL At ATL Username: SouthernDC9 Posted 2011-12-05 07:04:39 and read 2072 times. Given what WN has said about plans for ATL, will they be connecting non-FL cities (especially in the South, i.e. JAN and LIT) to ATL? | ||
| Topic: RE: WN/FL At ATL Username: GizmoNC Posted 2011-12-05 08:16:13 and read 1910 times. ATL starts on Feb 12, 2012 with 15 flights and 2 more added shortly there after. WN will be staffing all flights both customer service , ops and ramp with WN employees. Station Manager has been appointed and positions for WN employees was posted sometime back. FL does not do cargo and it is my understanding that WN will open up a cargo facility and run freight on the WN flights. When those silver columns go up in ATL you will know what gate (s) they plan on using. Tech service will come in and add the computer podium for the gate and then a customer service podium. WN operation is somewhat different than most airlines. The WN employee at the boarding door is OPS and does weight and balance so if you want a boarding card you have to visit the WN employee at the Customer Service counter. | ||
