I have a question...

What non-stop route do you need or want the most?

I really want a non-stop route between Mexico City (MEX) & Caracas (CCS) because all flights stop in Panama City (PTY) or you have to connect... .

Every year million of tourists at Balneario 6 and El Arenal...  Smile/happy/getting dizzy Just A Joke...

I think the most important routes are the business routes between following cities: New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Honk Kong, Singapore and Tokyo...

BCN-SSA

Actually don't mind if it is non-stop or not. But I need it direct (no plane changes). My wife is from Feira de Santana, 60 mls W of SSA and this year we are travelling with our 12-month old (by Christmas) little daughter.

For quite a long, VASP was serving São Paulo-(three times a week with Stopovers at Salvador de BAhia and three or four at Madrid)-Barcelona, with some M11s they leased. The duration of the BCN-SSA section was 8h20, without stopover at MAD, or 10 hrs with stopover. The flight was for US$500-to-800. Two years ago, more or less, VASP had to get rid of the M11s due to financial trouble.
Now, the only options are TP or AF: TP BCN-LIS-(maybe REC or FOR)-SSa, or only twice a week LIS-SSA. However, this is expensive. Reserving NOW (end of july) for December, we're getting prices around USD1100 or waiting lists... The cheapest option right now is AF BCN-CDG-GRU-SSA (two hours to the north+11h30 to the south+another 2h30 to the north, total trip time about 20 hrs) for the nice amount of 1050USD.
Can you understand how much I miss VASP and their VP784-VP785 flights?

I would say a

San Juan- Mexico City. Eventhough Mexicna tried it and it didn't work. I think they should have given it more time and help it expand. Turism from Puerto Rico to Mexico is big plus there are Mexicans here that would like to go back to Mexico and visit without having to stop at PTY or MIA.

I badly need a Mannheim-Dortmund flight - wishfull thinking, though - I´d probably be the only customer  Big grin.
I live in Dortmund and study and work at Mannheim University. The only alternatives are the train which takes 4 hours or FRA-DTM, door to door 3.5 hours at best - at the double price  Sad.

FLAIRPORT, FLL-NAS is flown by Continental Connection and Bahamasair. FLL-RSW is not flown, but MIA-RSW is, and MIA is only 19 miles south.

DLMCO, with this past April's cancelation of MIA-FCO (in exchange for extra MIA-MXP flights), Alitalia, in the US, only serves the New York City area from Rome. Plus, there is no market from Tampa what so ever, and the market from Orlando is also virtually non-existant. MAYBE MIA-MXP, but that is still stretching it a lot.

Pilottim747, under BII, MSP-LHR cannot be flown. Though I have heard BA might make MSP thier next US destination (via LGW). I do believe MSP is the largest US city without service from British Airways.

All of these are no-brainers.......

3) BA or Virgin could add a twice-weekly seasonal service

MCI-MIA, on AA or Vanguard.
MCI-MEX on Mexicana or AeroMexico.
MCI-LGW, or MCI-FRA, Kansas City has big businesses that send people on business trips to Europe all the time and they complain about having to go through stops. BA could likely make the route profitable with a 763, maybe a few times a week, or weekly. It would be interesting to see how BA would do with this route. I've always though an MCI-ORD-LGW service might work as well, the same concept as BA's old LGW-PHX-SAN route, what passengers they didn't board here in Kansas City they could pick up at the stopover in Chicago. What do you guys think?

RE: MCI

Yeah, I think a London flight would work as well, if not non-stop, then Via MKE with a MidEx code share, then onward on BA or Virgin!

DLMCO, DTW-FCO is an AZ codeshare operated by Northwest. In exchange, AZ code-shares with NW on MIA-DTW and NW codeshares with AZ on MIA-MXP.

Piedmont, metropolitan area population, not city proper, is what matters. There are 750,000 people living in the city proper of Jacksonville, but only 1.1M people living in the metro region. In comparison, 370,000 people live in Minneapolis, but over 3.2M live in surrounding areas. What's the bigger market? MSP is, I think, America's 15th largest.

Tops on our domestic wish list is MSY-BOS (I'd say with either US or UA), second would be MSY-SEA (probably by UA).

Internationally, the need first is for a British Airways return to London, followed by an MSY-MEX run with Mexicana.

As for what I see beyond MSY, the route that I think is really needed, the one that's been needed the most for years and years and years, has got to be..........ICT-DAL on Southwest!!!

Boston-München.

Although I wouldn't use it that much, my dad has had to fly this route 4 times in less than a year. In order for him to get their, he has to take one of the two daily flights from Boston to Frankfurt, and then connect. And to make it back to Boston in time to do some work at the office before coming home, he has to get on a 0700 flight from MUC to FRA, and then connect to LH422, which leaves FRA at around 1030. It would be much easier if there was a non-stop Lufthansa BOS-MUC.
