Topic: DL 777-200ER At SEA? Username: wedgetail737 Posted 2012-09-29 09:31:57 and read 7452 times.Hello, all:
Last Sunday, while traveling for business, a DL 777-200ER landed at SEA. It parked directly in front of the DL hangar. Any idea why it was here? |

Considering how that game ended, I'm sure that was an unpleasant flight home.

Packers have been with NW/DL for many years, this year they have only flown the 763 and 772.
Not since 2010, last year the biggest was the 333.

A few months ago, my sea-nrt flight was swapped from an A330 to a 744 that was headed in for interior mods.
A 777 is a pretty lavish sports charter. Does DL have spare 777 capacity? If not, where did this aircraft come from? |

With the discontinuation of DTW-HKG, yes.

FWIW slack on the T7s isn't as large as one would think. The LRs are going in for some longer MX (PSVs I believe) and they are using some ERs to cover. I'm a little surprised they are doing charter work. (and wouldn't expect to see to much of it over the winter)
