Good evening everyone,
We had discussed the status of the US Airways B737-300 retirement in another thread before but it seems like I can no longer respond to it because that has been more than 2 weeks ago, so I am opening a new one instead. I have yet again been told today that the B737-300s would now have been retired. I however still see some of them scheduled. What is the current status of these four birds?:
N529AU
N530AU
N531AU
N574US

Can't verify the tail numbers exactly but a -300 is shown on US989 (CLT-FLL) and US1864 (FLL-CLT-PVD) for today and has been for the last several saturdays. The database shows a shot of N531AU in Miami as recently as Oct. 11.

529 and 574 are out of service and were ferried to MIA on November 3rd. The other two are still active.

I saw N530AU @ FLL on October 23. I think I read Nov 16 was the last day

Not to hijack the thread, but when are the -400s being retired? I love them and wanna get on one before they are retired.
