Any ideas what they're doing there or who they're operating for? Saw them parked by hangar 4.

I was wondering the same thing....and if the C-17 parked nearby has something to do with them as well. I was a little excited this morning to see them though, it's not everyday we get to see Russian aircraft here!

The C-17 is here for Mr. Obama's planned visit tomorrow. The 2 russian planes brought in some sort of cargo that was offloaded by a bus load of people by hand into 2 tractor trailers.

We had one in ATL last week. It flew out of here early morning for IAH - Volga Dnepr

The article said the two aircraft brought 50 tonnes of blankets...
