Will be a direct flight or will they stop in Istanbul? Will they also fly to Birmingham with this flight.

Istanbul has been dropped, but this new nonstop service made a fuelstop in Ankara.

Why would it make a stop in Turkey when it can make it to Manchester without refueling unless they pick up more traffic? and drop off passengers.

It made the stop on the return leg not when flying to MAN, not an expert on aviation but maybe weight restrictions had a part in this.

Just guessing, but maybe fuel was cheaper at ANK?

Interesting, so PK has some competition. But a 343 has plenty of range to go LHE-MAN plus more - so why the stop in Turkey? Can't be weight. Security?

If they pick up traffic than it makes sense. Yes PIA has competion now with Airblue with there A343 and Shaheen air with there A 333 and boeing 734 and 738 and 762.

PIA have now reduced fares for MAN to compete with Airblue.

Can't be weight.

Why not? just guessing there were too much load onboard to carry more fuel so they stopped at ANK for that?

Hopefully Shaheen Air starts service to England and then USA in the next 10 years.
