Topic: BA 777-300 On Way To EZE - February 17, 2013 Username: scrappy27 Posted 2013-02-17 15:43:40 and read 8299 times.its usually a 3 class 777 (G-YMMA/C/D/E/R/S/T/U)
the 777-300's have new First (so some lucky CW passengers will have a good trip tonight)
Not sure why its on the EZE tonight... but I think its a one off.. Tomorrow back to the 772. |

I hope that they change the 3 class to 4, however I fly GRU- LHR quite often in F and recently (including only 4 days ago), it is almost empty... so I really don't think the demand would be there to EZE.... although CW down to Buenos Aires is always almost full.
Out of interest- does anyone know why a 773 is being used tonight?
Edited to say:
I wonder if it is connected to this: http://www.thebasource.com/british-a...mb-ba2276-cardiff-wales-diversion/

Unlikely as YMMB is a Gatwick bird at the moment.

Don't forget it is Carnaval - which has clearly done strange things to demand from Brazil. I was on the 246 on Thursday night - First was reasonably full, all Club World pax were moved upstairs (the downstairs cabins were literally empty), WTP was about 1/4-1/3rd full and WT was probably about 40% full. Never seen it like that before...
Answer is probably who knows? EZE may have been heavily overbooked either outbound or on the return and STBA's scheduled route could be easily subbed with a 772.

Thanks for clarifying that!
We must of passed in mid air, I flew back on BA247, maybe it is carnaval, or demand for these routes down here dropping at the moment. I'm curious to know how the 'new' AA flight DFW-GRU is doing? I saw it in Sao Paulo as I was taking off later on Friday evening... (Livery looks better in the flesh than in photos btw)

Could be, although I did notice that it was delayed by an hour or so, maybe that it was a last min substitution... Guess we will have to wait for someone at BA to tell us!

No it appears not as Iberia only appear to have cancelled selected short haul flights. Full details are on their website http://tinyurl.com/byaww8t
