I noticed recently that VH-OQG now wears the slogan 'Spirit of Australians', rather than the more familiar 'Spirit of Australia'.

Is this going to be rolled out across the fleet now and does anyone else know of any other Qantas aircraft with this slight change?

I havent noticed this nor heard of this rebranding, if they are going to do this then they have kept it very quiet.

That'll explain it then. Thanks!

That video has been on since June and I've only seen 2 planes with it on now. I guess they just wait until scheduled maintenance to add the 'NS'.

It's not being rolled it fleet wide.

In addition to the A380 and 738, there was a 744 also in the adjusted livery as part of the Olympic team sponsorship (though I think that said something like 'The Spirit of the Australian Team").

The whole thing was just part of a big social media driven campaign that has long since passed. I don't think the new marketing concept was particularly well received, hence why we haven't seen any progress/new ads etc.

My understanding is it is a limited promotion, with the ac that have "NS" on them sporting thousands of names of Australians on the fuselage.

Yes, plus the second link OzGlobal posted. It seemed to fizzle out pretty quickly last year although they're still using the slogan on their website as part of their big overhaul programme.

wasn't the best campaign, the add was boring. I was a big fan of the children's choir, and the song " i still call Australia home" people could relate to it.

I wasn't really a fan of this social media push.

Of course, I'm not from Australia, but I felt that "Spirit of Australia" was a really nice slogan, but "Spirit of Australians" just felt awkward and sort of forced. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
