Looks like the navigation system might be Honeywell?

What other airlines have ordered these planes? They look sharp. I doubt any US firms would order one, but I can wish.

Looks great. I wonder why BAe let the 146 die instead of making it a twin. Would have looked somethin like this plane.

How it will get to Cuba? Is it allowed to fly over US airspace?

That shouldn't be a problem, since Cubana flies to Canada over US airspace on daily basis. Just wish this aircraft had the range to come and visit at YYZ.

They were working on it, but then 9/11 happened, orders for the RJX were cancelled, and they decided not to pursue it any further.

Looks like a larger version of the Dornier 328:

AFAIK mainly airlines in the formet "Soviet area of influence". One of its attractive selling points - for certain countries - is its low (or even lack of?) Western/US content, and therefore not subject to US export restrictions. It is also attractive for customers wanting or having to "buy Russian/Ukrainian", as the SSJ100 is deemed to have too much Western content.
Of course one of its disadvantages is that it competes for the same market with the SSJ100, which IMO is the superior aircraft, and certainly the one with the better chances to get Western orders.

I highly doubt it - see above. Low/no Western content by design + Cuban customer on top of that = no way a US-made Honeywell system can be on that plane.

Is Cubana the only airline who ordered the AN-158? There are a lot of orders for the AN-148, but I don't know about an-158 orders. Any info about it?

Beautiful bird, maybe I get to fly one of these too when I some day visit Cuba again, hopefully this time with Cubana IL-96.

Air Koryo will receive an An-158 in May or June this year. They have an An-148 already and will receive a second one soon.
