I just came home from work and it surprised me to learn that either AM or MX are serving any meal service in any of their A/C ,, and for the matter they are not transporting cheked weapons , cargo or rush bags
any of this at your airports.

Well since people may have to get to the airport 3-4 hrs. prior to their flight, eat at the airport.

Better yet, bring your own food, as I always do, no matter what the flight may be (unless I were to fly in first class). Just don't bring anything that would necessitate a knife!

No aircraft catering for the time being, excepting for soft drinks.

Please plan in advance for your personal nutrition needs.

If you say no rush bags, what are they going to do about passengers who do not arrive with their bags

I have heard that catering is the most lax area for security at airports. Catering service workers are not even checked by security and they have complete, unhindered access to aircraft.

Unfortunately, lack of catering may be one of the things we have to deal with as a result of increased security at our nation's airports. However, I am sure this issue will eventually be addressed.

The last few flights I had in the U.S. didn't have meal service anyway. Pissed me off because I was absolutely starving. I really missed those chicken sandwiches that were nice and warm on the outside and still frozen on the inside or those hamburgers whose meat looked like petrified cow shit.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy Anyways, it shouldn't be that big of a deal with domestic flights but what about long haul international flights?
