Are you a new diabetic? Diabetes is a serious disease but will not preclude you from doing anything you want, in any industry. Follow your doctors advice, watch your diet and be well.

PS : Find a friend that can give you the insulin shots with no qualms. One of my best friends is diabetic and she loves it when I'm around when she needs that shot. She says that she can hardly feel it because I just jab it in and get it out. NO SEXUAL INNUENDO HERE! Although I wish.

Seriously though, you can do anything you want. Go for it.

Unless things have changd in the past few years, I imagine they haven't, you cannot be an F/A nor can you be a pilot. Alt least you couldn't when I was flying, and I don't think that you can get a class 1 medical with diabetes. A girl that was in my training class at National(original) did not have diabetes when she started flying, but developed it later on. The company grounded her and made her a flight attendant supervisor. As far as everything else is concerned, I don't see why you wouldn't get hired. Good luck!!!
