Sadly the old "Name the plane" thread is closed so I had to start a new thread.

Nice computer generated video for the name the plane contest with a 777F in full Lufthansa colors:

Maybe the the introduction of the 777F with LH is the beginning of a new era ? Lufthansa Cargo and Swiss getting the 777 soon and Lufthansa being the launch customer of the 777X ?

I am surprised that LH Cargo is doing such has started this campaign. You should thing that nobody except us plane enthusiasts would care about being a new freighter being introduced.

I would name the 777F "cog" as the old hanseatic ship:

It's just a bit of PR that allows them to inform people and businesses in a rather fun way that they are introducing the best of what's available now.

Wait a minute... name a Lufthansa plane?

Didn't they do that with the A380, and the name LADY BEE won?

And then Lufthansa never ever used or mentioned that name any more?

Lady Bee would have been a stiupid name, "Queen Bee" would have been better, but how do you start naming the other 16? Ina Mueller?
