there used to be quite a few aircraft stored on the perimeter
of McCarran Intl Airport............was out there this weekend
and saw only 2 :

747SP - all white - ex Mandarin Airlines - N4522V

and

737-222 - no engines - ex United - N9016U

and of course the usual "gaggle" of 732's that shuttle people to/from AREA 51
saw around 4 or 5 parked together

you'd think there would be more due to all of the recent early retirements,
marana and mojave must be reaching their storage space limits

think more will come to Vegas ?

I was there last month,and there were like 4 DC-10's with no engines.Are they still there? How about that A300freighter?

Can anyone tell me more about this shuttle to area 51? What is area 51, isn't it that top secret place the governement had? If I am going to vegas how do I get to area 51?
