I seem to recall someone on this forum stating that there was proof WestJet was not going to make it.

But I just read this news item...

"WestJet Airlines announced its traffic figures for March 2002 featuring a 49.8% increase in revenue passenger miles over March 2001. ASM's grew 52.1% resulting in a load factor of 70.8% compared with 71.9% last March."

But LF dropped 1 whole point! I expect it to go under in about 3 weeks declaring Canada's equivalent of Chapter 7 liquidation, as Clive Beddoe realizes that they won't ever survive, so Ch. 11 won't be worthwhile.
