Current Airlines That Have Recoverd From Chap 11

I have been following the UAL situation very closely and was wondering which if any airlines have come out of chap 11 and are still operating today? Thanks for your time!

Hawaiian was in Ch 11 in the mid 90's but not anymore.  Smile

Continental and America West are the only two major US airlines that have filed for Chapter 11 and still fly (Hawaiian, too I think). Other US airlines that have not fared so well include TWA, Pan Am, and Eastern Airlines.

Are there any other examples of this? Probably are a few...

No. TWA never filed chapter 7. Their asset sale was conducted as part of a pre-packaged chapter 11 filing where AA purchased "substantially all assets".
