Which will be the first planes to wear the new Star Alliance c/s ?

Which aircraft will LH use for replacement of the good old D-AIBA which leaves the fleet this week(see Fly-Ks thread)?

I understand it will be an Asiana aircraft, most likely a 763.

What will the new colours be like? The current/old scheme is pretty good, but not that great...

Asiana Airlines will be the first to carry the new livery, but the a/c is still a ?

Could be 777 or 763 (I doubted 744 will have it, because it doesn't looks so good).

Does somebody know which aircraft-type SAS will paint into the Staralliance-c/s?

An A340 would have been great  Smile

The first LH plane could be also an A340.

What about D-AIHA? This is LH's first A340-600 and will be delivered in a few months?

What do you think? BTW, in my opinion the new scheme isn't that bad...

Gigneil: Sorry, what do you mean by no exceptions to the painting? So will SQ be painting one of their planes? From what I know, they do not have a plane that is in the star allinace colours, am I right to say that?

Has Asiana been officially welcomed to the Star Alliance network yet?

Asiana Airlines is scheduled to unveil their "Star Alliance Jet" on 28 Jan at Seoul Incheon Airport. Aircraft type remains a mystery . . .

SIA apparently has chosen the option with the white tail instead of the black tail . . .

I think the problem is that all of the airlines are not involved with the Colour scheme. I think that is why the old livery is attractive. Each airline was represented. The only thing, is United took up a section of it...

P.S. I saw the Air Canada A340 tonight arrive into YYZ....I love it but it doesn't have as many as the Mexicana A320 that was in last weekend!!

This is a No-design. Looks like a untalented CEO in a hurry scribbled this on a napkin during lunchbreak.

But serious. 99% of all designs that need to be assigned by two many "Desicion-makers" are horrible and driven by politics rather than taste. I´m a creative-director and this process is my daily bread.
