Anyways lets start thinking how they will replace those older 757s and ya kno one day the A330 will get old too so what do you think they will replace them with? the Super Efficient ?

oh and are they gonna buy the A380!?! oh yeh and now i remember some of their A320s are getting pretty old too do they replace with newer a320s etc etc etc etc Laugh out loud

we should start doing that instead of focusing on the DC9 DC10 and 742! ha!

(i was being sacarstic, dun take it seriously, in case you dont know)

I'm glad that NW doesn't replace it's older generation aircrafts.

This will permit me in the future to fly for the first time the B742 and DC10 (hopefully).

Maybe NW could replace some of the older 742s by buying some of those 744s UA is getting rid of. That would be a logical choice if they are looking for replacements.

Delta gets you there.

To further what 747buff said, Northwest could finally get those 2 -451s that United originally took delivery of...N105UA & N106UA. UA could afford them at the time, NW couldn't. Now the roles are reversed. NW can take more 747s from United as needed, if they choose to. United can get by with 22 747s, IMO. Regards.
