This charachter was in for a fuel stop while operating an MKE to Venezuela flight. I'm a little disappointed that I didn't see it up close. I was on my way back to the airport after picking up my daughter from pre-school, was traveling north of the airport heading east (Veterans from Loyola for the locals), when he departed runway 01. I caught a glimpse from about two miles away, got into the office, and called an Ops friend who told me what it was (callsign was Ryanair 4003, or similar, perhaps someone can find on a pro flight tracker). He also mentioned that he'll be back in late tonight on a return flight, and also more flights in the near future.

Fred,
They're done. I've got commitments the next two nights, but I should get them to you and Steven on Friday.

I'm pretty sure I saw one of these at DTW over the weekend (A321) ... parked at the old international terminal next to an Apple Vacations B752 in hybrid new Air 2000 livery.

I think that the A321s in Aerolloyd colors are being operated by Ryan International who contracts with Apple Vacations.
According to Flytecomm.com, it shows the Air 2000 aircraft as being operated by Air 2000.
I remember a couple years back seeing an Air 2000 763 at DTW.

FBOweb shows RYN4003 routing to be MSP-MSY-MDLR (Liberia, Costa Rica).

The AeroLloyd A320's are being operated this year by Ryan International Airlines for Funjet and Transglobal Vacations. They have German Registrations on them. Ryan Went with Aerolloyd this year instead of Aer Lingus.
These aircraft are beautiful and are brand new too. The interiors are various shades of gray and very european looking. The F/A's love them.

Hey Richard,
I think the 321 you mentioned is the one that was here. The Ops guy mentioned seeing ".....Vacations" on it, but had the reg correct (he to log it for Ops records), though he's obviously not a spotter-type like us.
I just saw a white airliner, what I thought was either a 321 or 757, from a distance, didn't recognize it, so I turned on my portable scanner. That's where I got the "Ryanair 4003" callsign.
Hopefully I'll be around the airport when he shows up next time.
Fred and Steven, bundle up guys. It's fixin' to get cool (relatively speaking) around here!

Soory for the misprint above, the routing was MSP-MSY-MRLB (Liberia), not La Romana, DR.
