G-BOAG had been scheduled to fly back to LHR on Monday, but was delayed at JFK due to a minor technical problem.
A spare part had to be flown in from LHR, and following repairs the aircraft became serviceable late on Wednesday.
It was kept at JFK, to provide cover for the BA 2, and once that had departed safely, G-BOAG was flown home empty, as the BA 9150, an hour or so later.
