Hi!

Just called SWISS today at LAX to make my reservations from LAX to ZRH and they confirmed me that on 15th. December 2003 my flight will be in the brand new A340-300, the seats will be 13A/B and 14A/B. Looking forward to fly for the first a long-haul Airbus.
Any comments?
regards

Should be a good looking A340.

What other airline fly the A340 to LAX. I know Air Tahiti does. Does Virgin Atlantic, Lufthansa or Air France fly the A340 to LAX?

Honestly I am becoming a huge fan of the A340 -200 -300 -500 and especially the -600.

Hi!

I think Lufthansa flies the 747-400 and Air France the 777, last time I was here Virgin flew it and Air Tahiti also flies. So from Europe we'll have Virgin and SWISS, but SWISS flight will be the longest from Europe to California I presume!

Could Emirates fly the A340-500 from DXB when they get them? That would be nice to see. Singapore Airlines will for sure start A340-500 flights from SIN.

My comment to CV990? ENJOY IT!! Wish, I could be there.

DXB-LAX is 13420 km. Theoretically it should be possible to fly this route with A345, but I'm not sure.
