This is the info I just heard from our corporate travel manager. Frankly, I'm not surprised at all, simply a business move by Continental.

Are they only ending their codeshare or also their FFP alliance?

Continental and EVA signed the code-share and FFP alliance in 1998, stating the alliance will lasts for 5 years.

2003 is the deadline for the 5-year alliance.
