I should know this, since I'm a United brat, but does United still have any of the old seats (square top seats in econ. w/out headrests; grey leather seats in first) in any airplanes anymore? All I've flown in the last year or so is an A319, an A320, a 747-400, and five 777s, they've all had the new seats.

The 767-200 fleet still has ALL of the old seats (F, C, Y), and the ex-Shuttle 737's all have the old Y seats.

Superfly, having a set of old UA seats is way cool! I would love to have some one day!!
I also think that some of the 737s MIGHT still have the old leather f class seats. I have also flown on some pretty nasty 757's the past year. Cant really recall if they had the old seats since I just came in from London with a horrible hangover. Sorry I cant help more on that!

Every aircraft has the "new" seats designed by BE Aerospace (the 747s and 777-internationals have even "newer" seats designed by Rumboldt, UK - the First Suite, with the 767-300-internationals having the "old new" infl F seats designed by BE), with the exception of:
737 Classics - All
767-200 fleet - All
757 fleet - about 1/3 of it is lacking the seats, but these are being steadily outfitted with new seats and Decor 5.6 as they go through heavy maintenance
