Isn't KE the first or second largest cargo carrier in the world? first being Lufthansa? does anyone have the ranking?

Although FedEx / UPS / DHL are not counted since they are not really cargo haulers, more on express mails, I would think FedEx is the largest if we were to include all?

Absolute tonnage wise, UPS and FedEx are the biggest, but on terms of FTKs (freight-tonne kilometers) both LH and KE are in the top 5 (I think #1 and #2 respectively, although I don't have the info in front of me).

As for the announcement, it's good to see all of the hard work paying off. Now let's see if they do anything for those of us making them #1.... Wink/being sarcastic

Fed Ex is a lot larger than UPS because UPS trucks a lot more than flying it. I would think that Lufthansa or JAL would be bigger and better than Korean in cargo though

KE is second to LH in terms of cargo hauling for a passenger airline. I work for KE but I work in the passenger sales side. With that being said, we will change our departure time out of DFW from nighttime to daytime beginning on April 1, 2003. The new flight schedules have been loaded into all CRS systems.
