Belgian charter airline adds a fourth boeing 767-300 ER to its fleet. Thei aircraf will get the code OO-SLT and will join SLR already this winterseason. It's an ex Air Europa/e (?) Italy aircraft in 2 class configuration.
Sobelair will use this aircraft for additional longhaul flights (to Senegal for Thomas Cook for example) and as back-up for its 3 other 767's. Aircraft is leased for 2 years with a power by the hour contract.
Just came back 2night from Barcelona with their new 737-800 with winglets... Beautiful bird I must say...

How is Sobelair doing these days? Did they have any connection to SN? (Sorry for such an ignorant question, since I don't live in Belgium, hope you understand...)

SLR was part of the Sabena Group but was bought last year by Brussels entrepreneur Aldo Vastapane...
SLR operates a fleet of B 737/767 for touroperators (TUI, Thomas Cook) and started a lineservice to Johannesburg last december. SLR is the only Belgian airline operating transatlantic flights. They hope to have a break-even result this year.
