Pay For Food On Board Virgin Express

Virgin express will soon drastic change its inflight service. They are currently testing a new food concept. Passengers must pay for all food on board. There will be a bigger selection than today (rolls, sandwiches, salads) but you only get it when you pay... New concept starts normally in march.

I think its a great idea. It might tempt more passnegers to take advantage of their low fares

Virgin Blue's done it for a while now, not really a new concept at all.

Mind you, it's worked out quite well for Virgin Blue, except for the fact that the food selection seemed to be a bit paltry. Oh well, a few bucks saved is a few bucks saved...
