Does anyone know if their are any Royal Airlines or Canada 3000 for that matter still sitting around anywhere.

There were many planes in Edmonton and in Quebec city but don't know if they are still their.

Any in the desert?

thanks

Ya there are two parked at YYZ, 732's to be exact. One WAS C-FRYL and C-FRYG has no engines.....RYL has had its reg changed to a US one...check the data base.

P.S. if you came spotting you would know this!

There's still at least 4 732s at CYXD, I think 2 with Royal/C3 and the other 2 C3 if I recall correctly.

NAP/NAQ should still be in Quebec City....

And I think some 310's are still sitting around the UK...I think only RYV is flying for a new operator...

The A310 RYI is flying for a French charter operator, so I guess that takes care of 2 of the A310's. There's a picture of it, all white I believe here on a.net.

Gmonney,

Thanks for the info and I do go spotting but never have the chance to come out on weekends. Yes the two 737s are in front of the Fedex building and have seen them many times.

RYI is the only A310 flying which is now owned by Euralair but operating for Nas Air. reg. F-GRNS.

The other 3 A310s are in XLW from what current info says.

Some of the 737s have been dismantled any the others are what I was asking about.

All the 757s are currently in use, with most of them at Air 2000

Guys, what cameras are you all using these days? I am currently looking for a good digital camera that has some form of zoom on it.

1world, the 2 737's have been moved to the infield area.

For cameras, hopefully either Dripstick or Cessnapimp can answer for you. They both have nice digital cameras. Maybe if C3 pays me what they owe me, I'll get a digital camera too!  Smile

That's interesting Rootsgirl.

Will C-GRYK and any other B757s be joining SSV/5G for long-term?

Good to see some Boeings amongst the buses.

RUH,RYL, and RYU were just temporary to fill a seasonal contract, they were only around for about a year....RYK was the only permanent aircraft (Also the best 757 flying!!!)

G-OOOB was built in 1987 for Air 2000, and since then has spent most of it's winters on lease to other airlines as follows;
British Airways as G-OOOB (x1)
Canada 3000 as C-FOOB (x9)
Royal Airlines as C-FRYH (x1 from December 1998 to March 1999)
http://home.tiscali.nl/seaway/CN/23822.htm

G-OOOC was built in 1988 for Air 2000, and since then has spent most of it's winters on lease to other airlines as follows;
Canada 3000 as C-FXOC (x6)
Royal Airlines as C-FRYL (x1 from December 1998 to April 1999)
http://home.tiscali.nl/seaway/CN/24017.htm

G-OOOD was built in 1988 for Air 2000, and since then has spent most of it's winters on lease to other airlines as follows;
Canada 3000 as C-FXOD (x4)
Royal Airlines as C-FRYL (x1 from December 1998 to October 1999)
Aero Continente as G-OOOD (x1)
http://home.tiscali.nl/seaway/CN/24235.htm

So the aircraft above only spent 4 months, 5 months and 10 months respectivley out of 15 years with Royal, they actually spent longer with Canada 3000!!!

The links are to detailed histories of each aircraft.
Below is the history of G-OOOZ
