For this moment, I hope very hard that they will land at RWY02 tomorrow (like they did this afternoon). When this happens, I will see it landing in front of my window...

Please... :d

Guys, I'll try to be there, but don't blame me if it lands on another runway than the one I'm standing on (i.e. 25L - 25R as always).

By the way, I'd love to see this bird, especially now everything is covered by snow. I'll let you guys know if I made it or not...

I won't be able to check this site again, but should you know the exact landing runway, I think it would be best to contact Sabena 690 for example. He has my cellphone number so he'd be able to contact me before the aircraft comes in. Now let's cross our fingers, shall we?

Thanks for the news anyway!

@Ivan:

I leave within 15 minuts to school, so contacting me will not help...

Estimated arrival time at the moment is 16.15h, so no delay.
Flight nr: SN6002, from Amsterdam

Frederic

Sabena 690: OK, no problem. I just didn't want to put my cellphone number over here. Let's just cross our fingers and hope it'll land on 25L, becausez that's probably the place I'm going to be at, near the refugee center (just to take some pics with the snow, you know what I mean  Wink/being sarcastic ).

Hello Frederic,

I'm back!!!!!!

I will be there. MD11er and co.. will be there also. The aircraft is supposed to be parked in front of hangar 41 so there's a good chance that the 25L will be used (contrary to the 25R as first believed) That's where I'll be.

Good hunting guys.......

Hi guys,

I went to BRU, but apparantly I missed the aircraft. Since most aircraft were landing on 25R, I drove to there but I didn't see it land. I left at about 16h50 and drove to the Abelag/SN House place and drove near the old Satellite, but I didn't see the aircraft. All I saw was an SN A330, a B767 (of a company I can't remember) and a blue TUI aircraft (could this be an SLR aircraft?).

Too bad. I didn't get to read A330DAT's post. Maybe I just missed it. Stupid BIAC guys. They should stick to 25L for landings, instead of some aircraft landing on 25R when it's convenient and others on 25L.

Anyhow, I still was able to shoot a few pics. Let's hope that some of them make it to Airliners.net huh? Big grin

Hello everyone,

The aircraft will only land at around 19.00.
So Apuneger I came to tell you but apparetly you were already gone. the SNBA pilots where supose to fly the ac from AMS to BRU and land it on 25R so they can park it in front of Hangar 117 bis (SNBA Hangar).
19.00 is to late and so to dark for good pics, so it will be tomorow in the Hangar.

MD-11er

The A319 did not land at 16:15. The latest is that it is expected at 18:00 and going straight to the DAT (SNBA) hangar, so 25R would also be the likely runway.

The Air Europe 767 is indeed the 4th 767 for Sobelair (to be OO-SLT) and the 737-300 in the Tui colors is the Sobelair OO-SBZ. So far it has the overall blue and the Tui logo on the tail but no Sobelair titles.

The all white Electra 757 was also present outside the hangars. (has been there a while)

Inside hangar 41 is the A340-300 of AirLib (AOM) with blue belly. Thanks for the info MD-11er.

cheers

MD-11er: Thanks for the information. The info about the delay certainly calmed down my mind. Until now I was blaming myself for standing at the wrong runway. So, at least now I know it just got delayed...

A330DAT: Thanks for the info about those aircraft.

Can't wait to shoot all those birds on a SUNNY DAY WITHOUT SNOW AND ALL AIRCRAFT LANDING ON RWY 25L!!!  Pissed  Pissed (sorry, just had to do this  Smile/happy/getting dizzy )
