Will it be the 'pocket rocket' that's he's used for a number of transatlantic trips in the past?

Or the more common for longhaul (seeing he's going to Spain first) 777?

Or slumming it in the back of a RAF VC-10 (beautiful as they are....)

BA usually donates "Blair Force 1" when they need some sort of publicity stunt.... but then again, it's probably less expensive to use one of them than to take a 777 or the like out of rotation.

Not too terribly long after Concorde began flying again, Blair took it over one way, but then rode on a 777 back so he could get some sleep apparently.

Plus, even if he traveled with even close to as many people as Bush does, a whole 777 configured as BA configures them would be a huge waste. The 80-90 seats on a Concorde is a perfect fit.

Doesn't BA have a spare Concorde or even 2 that aren't flying to BGI or JFK?

Heh I'm a big Air Force One fan (wish it were a 744), but I think having a Concorde at your personal disposal is a much better penis extension.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

BA Absolutely has no spare Concordes, what with the gross mismanagement going on in BA Engineering.
If he's going anywhere expect Andrews Airforce Base in Washington, he won't use a Concorde, not much point going on it for a large slice of the trip being subsonic overland.
The last time he used Concorde was the same day as the relaunch of services, 7th Nov 2001, it is useful when he has a full morning/early afternoon, like doing Prime Ministers questions in the Commons, then has to get across the pond quickly, as happened last time.
Probably a BA 777 today, he may have a group of military advisors, as well as the usual staff and inevitable press pack.

If I am not mistaken, he is not flying directly to the US but he has a scheduled stop in Madrid to meet Spain's PM.

If it is a BA B777 going to MAD, then BA/IB should try and get a good photo of the B777 and PM and IB's A340 all together

I'm guessing that it will be a BA 777.
