Well, BA does surely have the better C-Class product at the moment but if you choose LH, you should be able to try out SAA on of your flights as well, because they have a code share agreement with LH according to my knowledge.
If SAA should indeed start flying the A346 to FRA, the decision would be made, if I were you.

I can highly recommend you British Airways, a few weeks ago I flew EWR-LHR in Club World. The full flat seats were absolutely comfortable, the food was delicious, the cabin crew was very friendly and professional and the entertainment system was absolutely awesome. I never flew in LH`s Business Class so I can not compare both classes, but if I had the choice again I would choose BA again of course.

Never flown LH business class but flew Club World BA last month ORD-LHR and it was an awesome experience. The seats are amazing especially if you are going with a friend/girlfriend because you sit facing each other which is quite conducive for conversation.

Uhm, just to add my two cents - Does LH actually have such a thing as business class? (I know they do-I'm just joking) But certainly what they call business class does by far not compare to BA (or UA or SQ or BD or US or ...). Same goes for Economy, too.
So if you have a choice between those two: Fly BA!!!!!!!!!!
Lufthansa just has to finally catch up to the competition. For long they have been sleeping and their wireless Internet service on board is not going to help them a lot either.
