I saw this posted on another board. It's and article from D Magazine that is an excerpt of the new book, Southwest Passage: The Inside Story of Southwest Airlines' Formative Years by Lamar Muse.

The article has a great color photo circa 1971 of all the F/A's in their orange hotpants and white go-go boots on the airstairs.

I just finished reading "Nuts! Southwest Airlines' Crazy Recipe for Business and Peronsal Success"
I didn't find it particularly well written, but there was enough great info to over come that.
Now I get to right a review of it for my aviation class........AVIATION CLASS, who offers those anymore? A+ here I come.
