It looks like Sobelair is adding aircraft at a rapid speed. First came the third 767-300 for the JNB flights, then the first 737-800 and now a fourth 767-300 is standing in front of Sabena technics to be repainted (?) into Sobelair colors.
How many aircraft does Sobelair currently operate? How many aircraft have already been planned to add to the fleet in the near future? Thanks for any info.

As far as I know, they have no more 767 aircraft on order. They talked about operating 4 airplanes in the long haul network but they are not considering adding anymore of those, at least not for the time being. They have so far one 737-800. Maybe they'll get one additional 737-800 for medium-haul charter flights to destinations such as RHO, LXR...places near the Middle East which attract tourists during holidays. I don't know how many Classic 737's they have but I do know they include 300 and 400 Series. It does look like the fleet will consist of just 737 and 767 aircraft.

Well I think they will first expand their charter network as no more plans are foressen for new scheduled routes.
I first thought they were to introduce Moscow and Cassablanca in spring but it doesn't seem to be the case...
Biut now comes the question of the 4th 767-300ER. I assume they signed big contracts with Thomas Cook to operate their long-haul operations, or maybe they'll try to increase the frequency of their JNB service.
