Question About TS A332 & A333

Hi

As I was checking Air Transat fleet on their site, I saw smg weird :
their A333s carry less pax (362 on 2-4-2) than their A332s (363 on 3-3-3)...

French Corsair uses also the hi-density A332 (3-3-3), but what is the use of having A333 if they have the same number of pax than the A332?
is TS all of a sudden concerned about pax comfort?

anyone from YYZ or YUL knows?

I wondered the same thing. I think the answer is to keep the 333 in the same pax config as the 332 fleet so they can be rotated easily. With only 1 333, it would be difficult to provide backup if it went mechanical while in max seating of 400+.

The 333 incidently was procured 2nd hand (the TS 332's are new builds) and likely has a lower lease rate than the newer/heavier 332's.

I think I would rather be in that 330-342 just because there looks to be wider seats if its only 2-4-2 compared with 3-3-3 in the 330-243.
