It's surprizing that FI don't fly to MAN, given that they fly to GLA.
I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.

They did in summer 1994 routing KEF-GLA-MAN 2 weekly I think...they said they were happy with the performance. Yet, it wasn't until 2001 before starting up again in this manner:
charter service: February to early June
scheduled service: early June to Septemberish
charter service; Septemberish to November.
Timings were the same: arrive midday Friday, depart 02.30 on Sundays, and normally with the same 757: TF-FIW, which often flew for other airlines whilst it was here.

Icelandair basically does the same thing described above at the other Manchester, the one in New Hampshire. Every week they base TF-FIN here for other airlines, and fly it back from KEF (via BOS) on Sundays and back (via BOS) on Thursday night.
Anyway, good news for you guys at HUY. It will be a difference than the commuters scheduled for you guys.
