I live in Poznan- town in western Poland. LOT gives names only to it`s 767 planes and the youngest (manufactured in 1997) SP-LPC is named "Poznan".
I used to fly onboard "Poznan" once (HER-WAW).

Hi,
my home town is Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany (60.000 Inhabitants),
and Lufthansa has a 737-300 named after my city.
Moreover, there is a helicopter of the US-Army named after my city, too.
O.K., bye,

Yes, there are LH planes named after the cities
- where I was born
- where I live
- where I work
(two 340-300, one 320 respectively)
And of course each of the three Lands in which these cities are located has a 747-400 - except maybe Nordrhein-Westfalen, the last one was a 747-200 which is now scrapped, but the there will be another one sooner or later - if there isn´t one yet.

Swissair earlier named all Aircrafts with names of Cantons and Cities in Switzerland. 747-200 HB-IGA and B have been Zurich and Geneva, HB-IGC to G have been named Zurich, Geneva, Basel, Bern and Ticino and so on.
Swiss International is going to name all aircrafts as per Swiss Mountains.
