Actually, what airline company is "AiRep"?

I guess we're talking about "Aviastar", right?

Reading the photo remarks, I understand that Aviastar is or has been operating regular(?) cargo flights for TNT to LGG! It would be rather remarkable if Aviastar would cooperate with both TNT and DHL, isn't it?

Firstly, the aircraft which is being operated is a Tu-204-100C. This needs to be distinguished from the Tu-204-120C.

AirRep (UK) Ltd, is the company which is responsible for the aircraft in the UK. AirRep is working with Aviastar (the plant in Ulyanovsk where the aircraft is built), VARZ (the aircraft repair plant), and Aviastar TU (the Aviastar owned "company" which has the AOC in Russia).

AirRep has been involved in Russian aviation for the last few years, and have undertaken many humanitarian flights to Africa with An-12s, in addition to operating the Stealthfreighter (some flights are done for TNT).

Thanks Sabena_690 (as always), thanks Established02 and 744rules for the flight info/schedules.

I suppose all we need now is a little good weather. Guess the best time to see the aircraft is indeed on Saturdays between sun up and 19:00/20:00.

I've flown once onboard this TU-204 of AirRep, out of LGG. This was one of my best flights ever. RA-64021 was a very good aircraft with excellent dispatch reliability. TNT has been the first user of this aircraft. If I remember well the call sign was PGP not FRT though....

As 744rules stated, the Aviastar TU204 (picture above) appeared today at BRU.
It has been parked in front of the DHL hangar 2.

> Press conference

Any news about this?

The Tu 204 in Brussels (10/02/03) was registered RA-64032 in the exact same colors (Aviastar TU - AirRep) as the pictures posted by Established02 here above.
