Anybody know what type of aircraft South African Airways uses to Mumbai, India? I was reading an article at www.timesofindia.com about how all flights to South Africa are sold out for the Cricket World Cup.
Does SAA use there 747-300 or 747-400 to BOM and what is the frequency of the route?
There should be a lot of booked flights to South African from cricket nation but I think India will have the most since there is a huge Indian community in South Africa as is. Kind of like India is also the home team. I hope they do well down there.

The BOM-JNB route is flown with a 767-200.
During the Cricket World Cup service between BOM/JNB is scheduled with a mix of 767s, 742s and 74Ls (mostly the latter) operating on days 1,3 and 5 ex BOM and on days 2,4,6 and 7 ex JNB.
