Modiluft - What Happened To Their Restart Plans?

Wasn't modiluft, in India, planning on relaunching with the help of Royal of Canada not too long ago or am I way off?

Modiluft went bankrupt? Never even realised that though often wondered why nothing was said about them. I flew them Goa-Mumbai a few years ago and the main thing I remember about them was that the (decent looking) food made me sick, later spoiling my Swissair flight to Zurich.

Sometime back, two groups within the Modi family and Lufthansa were issuing nasty newspaper ads aimed at each other even as ModiLuft(now renamed as Royal , no Canadian connection though AFAIK) was trying to restart.

Last I heard they were cutting back their exisitng staff.
