Funny they covered the rego.. Slawko, do you have any idea what the registration numbers are?
I believe they are arriving at KUL today but I am not sure of the routing it is taking... Anyone knows this? Slawko, do you also happen to know what flight number (MHxxxx) did the first plane use when it left KUL? This would enable me to at least find something about its routings.

Well they have leased it so what ya mean have they considered it?
and uhh not only is it shorter, its has a bigger tail i believe or something like that , and it has more range too. but i think what mh is looking is its smaller capacity but yet at the same time being able to keep commmonality with the A333s

A330-200 OO-SFQ was the first aircraft to be flown from Montreal (YUL) to Toronto (YYZ) for repainting into the Malaysian Airlines colors. At the same time, back in Montreal, OO-SFS was having a "C" check.
Afterwards OO-SFS was also flown to YYZ for painting while OO-SFQ was undergoing the "C" check. Now both aircraft are back in Montreal while it's OO-SFR's (the bullet hole aircraft) turn to undergo the same treatment.

The MAS aircraft that was written off was 9M-MKB on March 15, 2000. The flight was originally (to or from, can't remember) Guangzhou, China. You are right regarding the chemical spillage.
The deliverey dates for OO-SFQ was Aug. 9, 1999; OO-SFR was Oct. 10, 1999 and OO-SFS was Nov. 19, 1999. These A332s are pretty new (less than 4 years) and they are even newer than some MAS' B777.
Just wanna know since they are flying between YUL and YYZ so often, why there aren't any pictures of them around here? Anyway get ready Singapore spotters, you will probably be the first one to see them and pretty often too. (There isn't really a lot of spotters in KUL!)

MAS ordered the A333s back in 1992 I believe. All 10 of them were delivered in 1995. Since then, MAS had not ordered for any new A333s, but instead placed an order for 15 B777s in 1995 (MAS currently have 15 B777s, with another 2 on order due to be delivered this March and April I think). The A333s aren't as luxury as the B777s (no PTVs in any class).
Now they are getting 3 A332s from ILFC to fly to China, India and Singapore.

Can someone tell more abt the bullet hole a/c OO-SFR? Why was it fired at, where in Africa? How extensive was the damage?
Thank you very much Del Boy!! and well like OdiE said, I guess all them 3 A332s will be registered 9M-MKX/Y/Z or perhaps 9M-MKV/W/X ?? Oh well, we'll see...
Is Mas a330 reading this? If you are I thought you live nearby Subang? Is it possible for you to go take a shot or some sort? or at least go see? lol
Anyways, I strongly believe that the first picture would be either a picture taken by MAS in SZB or it would be one in Singaopre taken by the large groups of Singapore spotters.. as OdiE said, there are hardly any, if not none, spotters at KLIA. Well, perhaps there will be a surprise picture of it taken in KLIA, you'll see....
