I believe the types will be 717 except for the 2138 flight.
How is Airtran service?
Does anyone know if the N number is posted ro scheduled this far in advance?
Airtran stated that we could not select a seat untill at the airport. Is this a first come first serve operation? If I get there earlier caould I get better seats??
This is our first time flying Airtran, any commets are appreciated.

Glenn,
I do believe that all of your flights except flight 2138 will be aboard the Boeing 717. Flight 2138 (Operated by Air Wisconsin) will be operated with a CRJ-200. You can check-in for your flight and receive a Boarding Pass with seat assignment up to 24 hours in advance at www.airtran.com. If you choose to check-in at the airport, the earlier you arrive, the better chance of you getting the seat of your choice, as all seats are assigned at the time of check-in. All 717 and DC9 aircraft have 4 abreast seating in Business Class and 5 abreast seating in Economy. Don't forget it only costs $35 to upgrade to Business Class per segment based on availability! Hope you enjoy your flight!

Kevin,
Thanks for the info, I will be sure to check in early for the flights.
I hope to get a seat on the right side of the aircraft. We are traveling with an infant, and if the seat is not occupied I am sure Airtran would not mind if we used that seat.

You have a 30 minute stop on flight 2138 in the bustling metropolis of TLH. Don't get lost in the terminal, if you get off the plane... (just kidding) Bring something to do, cause there won't be any other aircraft around to look at. Maybe a stray CRJ from DL or NW if they are running late.

I take it that TLH is a small airport. I would guess smaller than our airport here at SYR.
