Cause & Circumstance: 'Run the Checklist, Land the Airplane'

"The NTSB believes transport crews should limit flight control system troubleshooting to checklist items followed by an immediate landing if the checklist items fail to resolve the problem, and it has asked the FAA to require air carriers to share this advice with their pilots."
