Ryan International And SunTrips

SunTrips recently switched carriers for their Hawaii program from Ryan International DC-10's (379 passenger capacity) to North American Boring 757's (214 Passenger capacity). This is a significant drop in available seating capacity.

Does anyone know the reason for the change? Is it due to a downturn in demand for travel to Hawaii or market pressures etc?
