For my 12th birthday, I might be flying alone from Portsmouth-Orlando-Sanford Leaving in the morning arriving in the evening. How would this work? Would I be a UM. Would there be suspicuons cause I'm returning the same day on PAN AM.

Your question is pretty vauge, especially since no one knows the date you would travel, and no one knows where you're going! (not that you should post those details here since you are so young) So what do you mean "How would this itinerary work"? Just tell the reservations agent you're an unaccompanied minor so you can get a better deal on the ticket (actually, since you're 12 I don't think you wouldn't need an escort or anything like that). Why would you be suspicious because you're leaving and returning the same day? It happens all the time. If you pay for your ticket with a credit card, it shouldn't be an issue. One way tickets bought with cash tend to arouse suspicion. And so what if you are suspicious, that only means you'll have your bags checked a little more thoroughly. Chances are no one will mess with you.

Ok, I deleted the "smoking gun" in my post, so if you hurry, you can delete yours too!
