According to the Hong Kong airport website on March 2nd at 20:15 CX2022 will arrive from Avalon (Australia). This should be B-HVY the only plane that Cathay still has in storage.

Can't wait to see it back in service, not much chance to see a non -400 of CX these days.

Confirmed. B-HVY will return to service despite having almost 94000hrs on the clock.

A/c will arrive back then have a D check, so will be in hanger for a long time..

Funny thing is, these aircraft were taken out of service after 9/11 due to downturn in market, and here we go getting it ready again, just before the next war.

What is that 744 flight there for? Bringing in parts and crew to fly it back?

Hkgspotter1,
CX2022 is for B-HUO and not for B-HVY  Smile Like CX773 says, HVY won't be back yet.
