Yeah based out of London Heathrow. They fly
They have been around since 1983.
But Virgin Airways was created just before he signed the sex pistols. They plane from Costa Rica to florida was canceled he charterd one to get to florida then to the UK. He knew that he would have got more money from the sex pistols then that flight cost. With the charter deal he got a black board and a piece of chalk he wrote that Virgin Airways flying one way from Costa Rica to Florida. He sold that plane out and while one of the passengers were getting of he turned and said if you had more then 3 hours you could started a really good airline and now look were he is at.

Virgin Atlantic no longer flys the 767. I believe they leased one from Martinair. It was two years ago I believe.
